How can I tell if my phone supports eSIM?
Search in your version above. Then open your dailler and enter *#06# to look whether or not an EID is shown. On many phones you may additionally locate EID in Settings.
What is an EID?
An EID is a completely unique identifier to the eSIM in supported devices. It can appear on your mobile device when you dial *#06#. Treat it as private information facts; you do not need to share this number with this checker.
Why isn't my exact model in the device list?
Our list may not include every model or regional. An unlisted model is not automatically incompatible. Check the manufacturer's specifications and whether your actual device displays an EID.
Can a carrier locked phone use a travel eSIM?
A device can support eSIM but still be locked to a mobile network. Check that it is unlocked before buying an eSIM. On iPhone, you can look under Settings General About Carrier Lock.
Does eSIM work on every iPhone or Samsung Galaxy?
No. eSIM availability depends on the exact model, region and sometimes carrier. For example, some models have country specific hardware variations. Always check the device, rather than assuming that the phone supports eSIM.
What if *#06# does not show an EID?
Check your device's About or SIM settings as well, particularly on tablets and models where dialler information differs. If you still cannot find an EID, confirm compatibility with your device maker or mobile carrier before buying.
